Ship Licence for Wireless Telegraphy.
I am directed by the Postmaster General to acquaint you, for the information of the Secretary of State for the Colonies, that as a temporary measure a wireless telegraph licence was issued on the 7th May last to the Standard Transportation Company Limited in respect of their steamships "Aspinet, "Masconomo", "Massasoit", "Oneka", "Satanta", "Wabasha", "Sequoya", "Shaboneo", "Tahchee", "Tamaha", "Tascalusa", "Uncas"and "Winamac" which are registered in Hong Kong, and the owners were advised that application should be made to the Governor of Hong Kong for a licence when the ships next visited that Colony.
